    My Younger Brother’s Funeral

    My younger brother Ritchie died in a motorcycle accident a few days ago. The motorcycle he was riding on went out of control and threw him off of it. He landed badly and hit his head on the concrete gutter. According to those I talked to, he died immediately. He was riding along with a neighbor and both of them had some to drink when the accident happened. His neighbor survived, though. They were coming home from an overnight swimming party organized by our cousin, had some alcohol to drink and went home.

    Ritchie left a wife and two very young children. They’re currently residing at Barleta Subdivision. I just wished I could have helped them more but, unfortunately, I have problems of my own. Contrary to what you see here on our Family Blog, we are also not doing very well but we do try our best to make our situation work for us. Feeling sorry or down will just build up more negative energy. (more…)

    Mother-In-Law’s Funeral

    Last Saturday (July 18, 2009), my Mother-In-Law, Consuelo Rondina, was laid in her final resting place at San Pablo City Public Cemetery. She was 70 years old when she passed away. As far as I know, the cause of death was her Skin Cancer. The cancer already ate through her face and according to my wife, it was already attacking her internal organs in the abdominal area. Unfortunately, the cancer was never really treated because the cost of the medicines were somewhat expensive and I guess because of that the cancer spread and attacked other parts of the body.
